The Lodestones bring you original, moon-bent astral folk songs from the land of twilight, the altars along the road to love and eternity, and from the theater of the absurd. With a background in experimental sound, The Lodestones emerge as something direct, definite, and intentional, with country inflected avant-strum and velvet drone, while drawing from various folk musics of America and the world. In addition to performing as The Lodestones, Dena Goldsmith and Jeffrey Rocketmild have performed and released music as 3 Moons, recorded and toured as members of freak folk institution Village of Spaces, and are currently internationally touring members of the cult noise/Americana band Jackie O Motherfucker.
